A stunning design; modernist with an almost Soviet constructivist feel, Renau’s 1930’s poster is rightly considered on of the greats. Much sought after by collectors (one reached a price of $8,125 at auction in New York, 2020), the poster is rare and expensive. This is not an original from the 1930s, rather it’s from the authorised 1975 CAC limited edition print, produced to celebrate the poster’s anniversary.
To protect the integrity of the poster image some features unique to the 1975 print have been crop out. I am very happy to provide complete, uncropped images on request. Whilst it clearly is not comparable to the original 1930s lithograph, it is in very good condition free from nicks, tears, or loss – it remains a great poster.
