Valencia’s largest festival, internationally known and added to UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage list in 2016, “Las Fallas” takes place each March to welcome the end of Winter and coming of Spring. The festival can be traced to the Middle Ages with the burning of elaborate effigies the main centrepiece.

An attractive design which uses the light of bonfires, unseen but reflected in the lamp glass, to highlight the flags and firecrackers of the fiesta with fireworks in the night-sky above. At over seventy years old, this is a rare survivor.

The poster has been folded and creases are evident. Some foxing has occurred but fortunately they don’t intrude into the poster too much or are masked by the orange/brown poster colour. Slightly smaller dimensions make this a more versatile size of poster.
